# Cuepup > Tools to prepare TV music and review its use. Good agents fetch the right cue. Factual brief of https://www.cuepup.com/. Updated 8 October 2026. ## What we are building TV music teams choose tracks, edit them to scenes and document each use. Cuepup is developing two tools to help with that work: Cuepup prepares editable music drafts; Music ID matches music in a mix against a supplied library and prepares data for a music-use report, or cue sheet. People review the results and make the final decisions. Cuepup is a Batuhan Fırat project in Istanbul and a brand of Pel&Bee Ltd. Today the scoring workflow runs in a third-party audio workstation and Music ID is tested on the team's project mixes. Cuepup Local, our own editor, remains in development. The team is exploring scoped beta partnerships; there is no public self-serve release. This in-house work is distinct from external customer adoption. ## Cuepup music drafts Cuepup is the company and product name used on this site from 8 October 2026. Older development screenshots and technical records may show the earlier working name ScoreFlow. Cuepup helps propose where music should enter and leave, choose recordings from a project-provided library, and edit them to fit the picture. The composer reviews the draft, changes choices and timing, and decides on the final mix. The project team must check music permissions. Claude-based scene analysis works alongside dedicated audio and editing tools. Claude is one part of the system; the audio workstation, the editor and Music ID are not simply Claude agents. Completed-episode reviews record retained, changed and removed music choices. These records help guide later selections and development; they do not retrain the underlying model. The current production scoring workflow runs in a third-party audio workstation. Cuepup Local is our own music and video editing application (DAW), under active development. It has its own project format and a limited tested project-import path. Bringing the complete scoring workflow into it remains in progress. Historical scoring results do not establish complete production use in CueBee Local. Cuepup Local keeps original media on the Mac. Opening, editing, saving, relinking and rendering have passed in-house technical checks with synthetic test media. Full production-workflow integration and musical validation remain in progress. The optional cloud workflow is an owner-only pilot. An explicit upload creates compressed media copies for browser work; originals stay local. A downloaded revision returns to the local originals for rendering. This is not automatic synchronization, an original-media cloud backup or shared team access. Local/cloud technical acceptance was performed on Mac Studio, not as a multi-device production acceptance. ## Music ID Music ID compares a finished mix, editor's reference cut or broadcast copy with a supplied music library. It uses fingerprint matching followed by audio verification. Optional source separation helps expose music under dialogue. It reports likely source matches, estimated entry and exit times, source offsets, edits, layers and levels. Identical-sounding files can produce alternatives. Outputs include: - Cue-sheet CSV: project, episode, song-family name, in/out times, duration and supplied owner/source information. - Piece-list CSV: source files, offsets, layers, estimated levels and equivalent-file alternatives. - Placement TSV for import into a supported audio workstation, plus a JSON report. These are data for review. Composer, publisher, licensing and territory information are not resolved automatically. The project team must check and complete the report for its intended use. Limits: music outside the supplied library is not identified; identical recordings may not be distinguishable; pitch-shifted and time-stretched music are not currently supported; quiet or dialogue-masked music can be missed; entry and exit timing need review, especially exits under dialogue. ## How development is checked The team compares proposed music with final composer decisions, examines recognition errors and tests local/cloud editing workflows. Findings guide further changes. Current work includes music choices and edits, recognition and timing, clearer result review, and integration of the scoring workflow into Cuepup Local. Dated scoring-workflow checks: - Song selection: in episodes 23–25 of one in-house drama, the proposed song remained the dominant final song in 88 of 100 compared regions (28/29, 27/33, 33/38). A retained song covers at least 30% of its region. Timing, source edits and level may still change; this is not an unchanged-edit rate. - Music presence: the 13-episode production baseline recorded on 7 October 2026 averaged 84.7% music/silence agreement, sampled once per second and averaged equally across episodes. This does not measure song or edit quality. - Boundary proposals: a frozen 27 September 2026 evaluation across 21 episodes measured exact matches to human-marked interior picture cuts. Mean F1 was 0.798; pooled precision 0.913 and recall 0.710. Episode starts and ends were excluded. This does not measure overall scene understanding. These describe dated in-house scoring checks, not external customer results, release certification or performance on new material. Music ID is being checked on the team's own project mixes. The site does not currently publish a numerical Music ID accuracy or runtime claim. ## Commercial direction Cuepup is seeking early-stage investment to develop Cuepup Local, improve Music ID and run scoped beta pilots with TV music and post-production teams. The proposed route to market is to use these pilots to shape a paid software offering. ## Founder and contact Batuhan Fırat is the founder and a Music & Sound Creative Director. He designs sound for film, television and brand projects, leads production teams, and contributes as a composer, lyricist and arranger on selected projects. His portfolio describes earlier creative work, separately from adoption of these software products: https://batufirat.io/. Cuepup is a brand of Pel&Bee Ltd. The website identifies the company as PELANDBEE Danışmanlık Menajerlik ve Prodüksiyon Hizmetleri Ltd. Şti., Istanbul, Türkiye. Investors and prospective beta partners can contact batuhan@cuepup.com.
